minnie the horse
minnie the horse is moving to a new stable, so the girls won’t be seeing her for a while.
they pursuaded me to join them and take some photos for remembery.
you can lead a horse to water, but a pencil must be lead. apparently.
the best shop in the world ?
this shop was in bushmills in northern ireland. it looked good from the other side of the street.
so we crossed over and had a good look.

dinner with the vicar
jane and i went out for a lovely meal at the rectory last night. we so rarely get to go out together so it was great. and the food was most excellent too.
team building
we had a work outing to a carting track in london last night. i chose to photo rather than drive.
i’ve also been experimented with some post-processing in Adobe Lightroom.
belfast wheel
there’s a big wheel in belfast which whizzed round faster than the london eye. to get the photo above i had to go nearly in to an office front door. i took a few photos then a security guard came along.
i thought “ooops”, but he said would i like to come in a bit further to get a better photo and even asked the cleaning lady to hold one of the doors open for me !
it’s a nice thing.
urinals this way
Urinal is such a brilliant word, but i suspect it doesn’t translate too well. i’m going to try and use it more often, particularly when visiting friends. “can i use your urinal” ?
sing up to kyoto
the freezing B&B
i stayed in a B&B the first night in belfast (at my own expense) so chose a well reviewed B&B. unfortunately it was freezing and i slept with my socks, pyjamas, a long sleeve t-shirt and a hat on ! breakfast was fantastic though.
