big wheel
i think this was an optical illusion, but the reflection in the puddle of the wheel looked biger than the actual wheel. is that possible ?
demonstration house
more shabby tescos demonstration cakes. this time it’s something showing how the build-it-yourself gingerbead house should look like. only all the inhabitants have had their heads removed (and eaten?)
rumikub with rascle (and family)
we had mr rascle family round for dinner yesterday evening. we had a great time. here we are playing rumikub.
there is some video footage as well which i’ll share with you when i find a mo to edit it.
they even did their own washing up !

leafy dinner
i went to a posh restaurant for my first xmas dinner on thursday and every one of my courses had a leaf in it
i suspect they had to carry the food across a courtyard and the leaves fell in on the way

i had my first christmas lunch yesterday.
and the lights are up and on in london.

reduced to clear
i’m always looking for a bargain so i like to have a little nose round the reduced to clear items in the supermarket. it was particularly full yesterday, and despite some tempting packets of poppets, there was nothing that grabbed my fancy.
doesn’t life often feel like this shelf ? badly stacked nearly-rans that are slightly too damaged to see full price ?
