ooh, this sign could almost be political given this evening’s announcement

there’s a lot to love about this sign.  it’s officialness together with its asides (about refrigerators) and that classic line

‘no human waste of any sort’.

i can’t promise i didn’t lose the odd strand of hair or skin cell as i climbed across their refrigerator.  but hopefully they aren’t reading this.

shame this wasn’t a northern blue

an opshop is what kiwis call charity shops (thrift stores to you americans). 

i like how this one focussed on the ‘vintage retro preloved’ aspects of donated goods.

so, it was a year ago today that we arrived in new zealand.  

i was worried i might not find anything to take photos of, but how wrong i was.  the whole place is as beautiful and as mad and as lovely and as strange as you could wish for.

tremendous.  bring on more of the same.
