this photo is quite dense so is worth clicking for the big version. it’s a shame about the hazy day, but you can make out St Paul’s Cathedral, Natwest Tower, the Gherkin and the Docklands in the distance

the view from an office

here is the view from the 5th floor on our brick lane office. i was based there for a year a while back but didn’t have a window seat. i don’t miss the commute either.
still, this view greeted me yesterday morning. you can clearly see the gherkin and natwest tower (as transversed earlier this week)

Tower 42

i got to go to a meeting up Tower 42 this week (also known as the Natwest Tower)

the conference room is only half way up the tower and you can only look out one side, but it was still very impressive.

it was a rainy day anyway, but by the time we stopped the meeting for coffee it got very rainy
