it’s the custom to take your shoes off when you go to someone’s house in new zealand which makes for comedy shoe piles outside houses, especially if there’s about a million people attending. here is just some of the shoe pile outside a house we went to this evening.

one year on
so, it was a year ago today that we arrived in new zealand.
i was worried i might not find anything to take photos of, but how wrong i was. the whole place is as beautiful and as mad and as lovely and as strange as you could wish for.
