i’m glad they just redacted this with a black pen rather than printing a new sign. they’d obviously gone to all that expense in the first place.

this was back at the end of May, but still an unexpected sight in the street.

i like to look around as i walk. last week i spotted these two sticks in the ground and let my eyes follow then up to the top to see why there was two
and there seemed to be no logical explanation as this lovely selection of signs could have been held on a single stick
so my only thoughts are that it’s for the benefit of dogs and this may be the first ‘his and hers’ weeing posts ?

if ever you wanted a motto for life, this could be it. although you might just want to stick to the ‘new things every day’ bit and drop the ‘under $10 winter clearance rack’

aren’t these the best fence posts ever ? not only do they keep people out physically, but they freak them out too. brilliant !
healthy cakes
here are some cakes we got at the office as a way of thanking us for our patience in the office move.
one of my colleague picked off the star from the top of his cake and threw it in the bin. i pointed out it was chocolate and not marzipan so he went in to the bin and got it out to eat it. good

sky tower
sky tower on a foggy morning. that sun reflection was actually a beam of light bouncing off the windows making a trail through the fog. shame you can’t really make it out on the picture. you’ll just have to come and visit instead !

no dogs
i collect pictures of dog signs, so it’s delovely when i come across one i haven’t already found. like patch here. he looks like he might be half cow half dog. or perhaps he’s a dog dressed as a cow to avoid the canine restriction.
