here’s simon looking very smart. he made a cake for the office today as he lost the competition to guess the birth date and weight of a colleague’s wife’s baby.
they take their punishments serious here in new zealand. great cake though !

i love this tree. i pass it most days, although it’s dark when i go by at this time of year (shorted day soon though so visibility should start to improve at some point)

a trip to the museum
we went to the local museum yesterday and it was fab in a rather disturbing way
in amongst the dead stuff they had some living stuff which sat really still and smiled
