  1. i love it when it rains. i was always perplexed because you do not have many rainy photos and i thought that it always rained in london. rain smells good.

  2. rains smells good when it hasn’t rained for a while and you are in the countryside. neither happens very often in london.
rain is bad for cameras so i don’t take too many rainy pictures.
but most significant is that it seems not to rain too much first thing in the morning when i walk to work. perhaps there’s a scientific reason for why it doesn’t rain at 7.30 in the morning ?
i have a friend who’s a geography teacher and another who is a weather man (or sorts). i shall ask them both seperately and see if they agree.

  3. You should come to Halifax, it’s been absolutely chucking it down recently.
    My cellar was flooded, slightly…

  4. well, kind of. i accidentally used Mrs Pancake’s name on my response. ooops.
but she has commented before on something (which is why it still auto-fills in on my browser).
    ooooops.

  5. Wasn’t one of your famous countrymen quoted as saying that he loved to sit at the window of his club and “watch the damned people get wet”? Well, sitting here at my desk and looking at the dry winds blow in of the prarie I think I’d be willing to sell my soul to be one of them!
