i had a car crash on the 7th july 2002. a fool rammed me on a windy road and wrote my car off. here are the photos

the reason for telling you ?
well, it’s got to go to court to get settled. me vs a young urchin who had completely lost control of his car. i had even stopped by the time he rammed me.
the court had decided last month that he was liable because he didn’t reply to any letters.
however, to today it turns out he’s moved so he claims he didn’t get any of the court demand letters.
So it’s back to the end of the waiting list for court appearances. at leat another 4 months to wait. it’s going to be my word versus his in the end.
the main consolation in this is that i’m alive, because if i’d stopped a few seconds later he would have hit my car door and i might not be a blogging … (and if i hadn’t been there at all, his car would have spun off in to the tree, so i probably saved his life too).
and of course, i’m no longer ‘mondeo man’ which has to be a good thing
ho hum.
Well, I hope it ends well for you. I hate car wrecks!

we drive on the left, which definately isn’t right.
there is priority to the right in a roundabout. or an argument.
there’s nothing more annoying than arguing with someone who is right.
Apparently why we drive on the left has something to do with jousting, and why most of the rest of the world drives on the right has something to do with Napoleon.
At least we only inherited his driving habits and not his stupid hat.
