i happened to be down in wellington last week when a storm blew in.

here’s a few pictures of what we saw the next morning

this was impressive – a bench blowing over despite being attached to a brick floor

and a channel ferry which lost its moorings still bobbing out in the harbour

i went down to wellington for a day of meetings earlier in the week. the weather was nice and a welcome respite from the humidy of auckland. they’ve got some nice sculptures around the place like this which i didn’t quite photo properly twice (one under, one over exposed)
