a nice jolly dog

with a P

and with a white background

no dogs in the ornamental gardens

doggy thought waves

i’ve only just worked out what this sign means. i thought it was a dog looking at the floor with a funny hairstyle.
this sign is on the Vienna U-bahn and i’ve been after it for a few days now.

vienna is the dog sign capital of the world

there’s just SO many good dog signs in vienna. there’s loads more to show you !

dog sign with a view

how’s this for a dog sign with a terific view of some mountains in the lake district ?

the sign itself is quite intriguing. a giant hand with short fingers, an equally large bag and a departing red dog.
i’m this is a dog-waste sign, rather than a dog catching sign ? i can’t be sure though

dogs with dangly tongues welcome

web dog sign

here is a dog sign has been graffiti’d and posted to fantastic website Pictures of Walls. this one is here

i found it via Russell’s blog (Russell reads this blog i think, so “hello Russell” if you’re passing).

a different dog

not a great one this as it was taken out of a car window as we speeded by. but if you look above the standard ‘infinity dog sign‘ you can see a different sort of dog.

say NO to strangers

it’s a tarantino version of this one.

diana memorial garden

you might have heard about the diana memorial garden ? it’s been a bit of a classic – originally a nice idea but went all a bit wrong when people slipped in the water channel. oh well

it’s actually looking very nice now

and see how many categories i can put it in: no dogs, no cycles, people, royalty and slippery floor

bag it and bin it

tipperary

it’s a long way to tipperary, but if you do go you should look out for this dog sign. a standard north european dog picture, but with some nice local information around it.
i like the way it makes it clear it’s addressed to the dog owners rather than the dogs themselves.
this photo was sent to me by Jenny (a great artist – check out her webpage).
She says “Here’s one from a B&B in Ireland – the woman who ran the place was very stern, and one of the other patrons nicknamed her “The Warden” — this is a sign out front of the property”

strange dog and another dog sign site

here is a strange dog. it’s legs don’t look right to me. but then i know little about much.
on a related note, i got an email from Sergei, the chap that runs this website. it’s another collection of dog signs and there’s surprising little overlap between our two sites !
thanks
