kids sit in these things and they spin round. except they are at an angle and they seem to have their momentum.  so kids go on them, get themselves in to a flat spin and can’t stop themselves.  tremendous stuff !

and i though all modern children’s play things were supposed to reduce risk taking.  jolly good i say

catherine made a fantastic treasure hunt round her house yesterday.  here are my set of excellent clues (i forgot to take ap icture of clue 5 which was on a seperate piece of paper)

there was a go-cart race where the parent-pushers were particularly competitive (the poor children are looking on in horror !)

and everyone’s favourite family game of archery
