we’re back to proper chilly gloves weather in england, although i’m more imune to it in my heated car these days. still, when i do go out on maneouvres there’s plenty of gloves to see.

her writes: “Not sure if the following too obscure but I thought I’d drop you these pics as the scene struck me as FP-ish, given the involvement of cones, an umbrella, a colour copier toner spill and hazard tape. The Business Support lady who placed the umbrella said it was to ‘stop the toner turning to ink’. Whether she anticipated a roof leak or a sprinkler test I’m not sure. ”

the other side of the wet picnic
remember i posted a picture of my parents-in-law picnicing in the rain under a comedy poncho ?
well, we were huddling under my military poncho as can be seen here. there are four of us under there.
interestingly, at the time there was a lot of debate about who had the most cover in our family. you can view from the hood position that it was actually jane, not me, who had the most cover, despite the consensus at the time.

he writes: “On the plus side we had lunch in a china buffet place today and they had the weirdest instructions. See the attached and you’ll realise they charge you for sitting down (unless you ask them not to), how much your children pay depends on their height, and the offer of Chinese Mush was one I personally passed on! ”

things have been stupid hectic in the funkypancake household since early june. yesterday i thought i’d have a look through some of the emails i’ve been sent during that period of time as i knew there were a few photos people have sent me to upload.
so this week i plan to share those outstanding photos with you. whilst i love to see other people’s photos it takes extra time to put them on the blog so i’ve let them slip for a while. this week is catch up week and apologies to anyone who’s photos i’ve missed and/or delayed for ages.
