potty plant
it’s a pot plant in a potty in the back of our car.
Goods in (and bad’s out)
This sign says “goods in” which i think is quite appropriate for christmas. as long as bad’s out. good is the trigger for santa’s delivery of course and is therefore a pass/fail thing.
for christians, christmas is all about God coming to earth so the pass/fail thing can be over-ruled. which is lucky as everyone would be a fail otherwise.
but i ramble.
waterloo sunset
it’s been very foggy for the last few days which makes driving less than fun. i got to spend the day in london on wednesday and walked across Waterloo Bridge sometime around sunset (as discussed in the Kinks song).

secret santa brought me gloves and a lighter
we had a secret santa at work, and i got these nice gloves and a lighter. someone has obviously been reading funkypancake !
actually, i’ve done rather well out of this as i need some new gloves, and lighters are always handy to have around at christmas for lighting candles etc.
xmas fish – dinner number 3
i know, i went to a fish restaurant and had steak and chips. i’m not very adventurous food wise, but then, the purpose of food is to stop you being hungry so i might as well go for something i know i like rather than risk something i don’t.
christmas cheer for parking wardens
i liked these empty wine glasses on the parking meter. someone obviously finished quaffing their wine before heading off in their motor. Or perhaps they know the secret button combination which makes the parking meter dispense wine ? Maybe we could use these at church during communion
the strange road crossing mystery
there was a strange shadow at this window, so i took this photo to show you. when i took it someone walked past, but even though their legs were the most movey part of their body, their feet are the only parts which have shown up.
questions about food and drink
there’s some variety in the questions here with tea and hot chocolate being twice and questiony than coffee and cake ? (or ??)
