kezia wearing fallen on the floor flowers
it’s amazing what you find on the floor. kezia collected lots of petals which had fallen off plants and put them in her hair.
could you imagine what would happen if i did that with the things i found on the street on the way to work (not that i’ve got much hair before any of you start making clever comments!)

dorchester on thames cafe
we went to this fantastic little cafe at Dorchester On Thames at the weekend. it’s quite small and you sit round a giant table with other visitors and help yourself to the fantastic display of home made cakes, whilst drinking tea.

at the end you add up everything you ate and pay (esther used this little blackboard to help with the adding). you really must go there. it’s fantastic !

party’s 71st party
it was my father-in-law’s birthday yesterday, so we went over to their house for cake. he’s known as ‘party’.
kezia decided he wanted to remind party how old he was so wrote it on his card envelope. i think this is a practice to be encouraged.
to work off the cake and beer we played french cricket
and here’s the man in action on the field
