i spotted this sign for eve’s pantry selling hot pies and i thought, that’s tempting.  in an adam and eve kind of way

jane said ‘perhaps they are apple pies’ in an even more adam and eve kind of way

then i saw this a couple of days later in a different part of town in a clothes shop window

i’ve seen these bins plenty of times before and now we have pearl rutherford (our dog), we’ve had cause to use them from time to time.

but i’d never seen the name until last weekend
