we’re having a referendum in new zealand on whether to change our flag and if so, what to.  the silver fern appears on a couple of the potential flags.  people say it might be a bad idea as no one can draw it.

this sign proves them wrong!

it’s been a long winter. but summer is coming (for us southerners anyway)

this is the first concert i’ve been to in the last three months which i’ve not been on official photography business, so it was nice to spend some time with Mrs Funkypancake watching Courtney Barnett

i couldn’t help myself but grab a few sneaky shots from the crowd though.  quite pleased with these given the very low light which would have been a challenge for my DSLR camera decent lens.  Go little canon compact (G7X)
