i went in to auckland last night to take some pictures of the mataraki celebrations

there was a movie projected on to one of the silos

which people could watch in the slightly chilly midwinter air

and lots of lovely lights and fings

and a market

i went with my good friend tim (seen in second picture from the top) before he flew off to australia for an indeterminate period.
