i had to not eat food for a while for a reason.  afterwards i had a break fast.  an actual one.

these are for my colleague Simon as he likes to end his powerpoint presentation with a ‘works end’ picture.  And so do i.

hero.  didn’t disappoint.

i discovered this morning that was actually born on the evening of the 1st August, which in NZ would have been the 2nd August.  So allowed myself another birthday

these are pictures of yesterday’s celebrations including a nicely dressed desk

and a work colleague lunch

before some present unwrapping

and a chocolate puffer fish cake (might be a hedgehog – but puffer fish is more vicious i think)

i turned 40 today.  that’s a surprise.
