these giant gnarly trees hang on for dear life against nature. mostly they win.
just desserts
i decided it was time to get fit so i’ve been using the stairs rather than the escalator at work. i also thought it would be good to catch up with warren for some healthy walking.
but instead we went to a local restaurant for coffees and desserts.
we had a great chat and great cakes and great hot drinks and nice free water. but there was a mysterious whispyness about warren that you can see on the top picture!

lunchtime stroll
it’s been quite chilly in new zealand. we even had snow which is the first time in 80 years for central auckland. but it is the middle of winter so what do you expect.
anyway, i went to a little stroll at lunch down to waterfront
nice to supp on a fruit drink whilst watching the giant fishing boats overlooked by dormant volcanoes
