local chocolate delicacies
one of the highlights we give to visitors to new zealand from overseas is a little guided taste of our fine (and not so fine) confectionaries
pineapple lumps (covered in chocolate) don’t seem to go down too well despite them being a national delicacy

(titled updated as a tribute to david bowie. i remember years back i had another bowie title on a post. can’t remember what that was now though. oh well)
unstealable sign
there’s something great and timeless about this sign. and also something very solid which is unlikely to be stolen !
the stone store
it’s exciting to find big solid buildings in new zealand as there aren’t many about. here’s one which has been a shop almost since time began (in NZ)
