this is a poison berry muffin according to the chap serving us. i went for the altogether more healthy option of chocolate muffin and cream
autumn – the leaves and telephone fall
it’s autumn on this end of the planet which means leaves fall. and so do retro telephones it seems. it’s always fun to see what you see on the residential streets of auckland.

here’s a rather comfy seat used by the local street dwellers near my office.
dog exclusion zone
two things here. very long tail on the dog, and a defined 10 metre exclusion zone of any playground. is this a worldwide restriction, in which case how come we’ve not seen more of these signs ?
i wonder if the tail is a 10metre ‘yard stick’ so you can measure how far away from any playground it is ?

nice bit of targeted advertising here. a nice clean poster so that those who have trouble seeing can clearly read what the offer is without being distracted by the background.
but i do like the idea of tempting senior citizens in by giving them a free cup of tea with their pie.

here’s a nice example of kiwi drivers. i spotted this bare leg on the car window sill. as we passed in the bus i noticed it was the driver’s ! that’s the beauty of automatic cars of course.
