this little procession marched past me on the way to the telecom regulator.

the goldfish trap

i can’t believe fairgrounds are still allowed to give goldfish as prizes.  they are a complete nightmare for all involved, especially the fish.

i saw quite a few children wandering round with small bags of goldfish. proudly presenting them to their parents, who then had to purchase a goldfish bowl and food at inflated prices from the stall where they’d ‘luckily’ won them.

dreadful business

the money cult

didn’t really come out as nice as i’d have liked, but it vaguely says the money cult next to the betting shop.  oh well.  next !

the big concert

090705_850_img_4345.jpg

both esther and kezia’s orchestras played in an extravaganza yesterday.  it was very good, but we now realise that as our girls get older their concerts will get longer.  this one was 2 and a half hours, and although very good, we were slightly relieved when we could exit the rather warm venue.

anyway i grabbed the shot above at the end of kezia’s orchestra’s practice, so i wouldn’t get evicted.

a medieval calamity

this poor chap was bludgeoned by another chap with a big clonking sword.  all in the name of entertainment

this lady thanked us all for watching.  she knew about watching as she had funky glasses

this chap showed people his sword.

and in the name of health and safety let youngsters hold this rather heavy and sharp piece of metal
