mr rascle should probably be excluded from guessing this thing as he’s probably been there. but anyone else care to guess what this frost covered thing is ?
Perhaps I have, but who can tell? (Not me!) It looks like roof trusses onto a stone wall, with an iron fence stanchion, but they dont all fit together really.
Along with my blind stag, I have no eye deer!!
I’ve no idea either – but I will point out that the window in the background probably indicates which way is really up in this picture – which makes the fake-stone wall and the rusty metal attached to it even more jaunty than FP led us to believe. It’s a good one. I’ll let my subconscious work on it.
funkypancake
actually, i think i actually shot (and posted) this straight, so don’t be sidetracked.
i’ll give it a day then drop some more clues (if needed)
rascle
I think the window angle is just perspective.
Is this in Yorkshire FP?
funkypancake
yes rascle. to give an additional clue, it’s not in its normal place, so don’t attempt to fathom too much from the background
rascle
Its a very long time since I went to see R&J. I really cant remember any detail.
Could it be a wooden post lying down, with some metal arch structure sticking up
funkypancake
ok – here’s a bigger clue, which will probably reveal the answer.
if you look at what i posted either side you’ll get a feel for the geographical area, and i’ve even provided a link to a google map page on the previous entry
if you look around that area (drag the map around a little bit) you might see a picture which will help you …
shorely
A-ha! Is it the sail off a windmill?!
funkypancake
