i travelled to Luxembourg with Luxair in a teeny weeny plane, with space enough for just one air hostess (and 50 passengers i think). it was so small we even got to walk to it across the tarmac in Heathrow which i’d never done before.
it was really nice though and they provided beer in real glass bottles and even came round with boiled sweets before we landed. just like the good old days.
I flew in a similar plane ( a Fokker ?) from Cardiff to Amsterdam with KLM. Did your have propellers ?
it didn’t have propellers – that’s a helicopter isn’t it 😉
it was a euro-fighter or something.
Euro- fighter , helicopter !!
Was it one lkie this http://www.luxair.lu/luxair/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=555&a=3692&l=en
i counted up the seats and i think it was one of these:
http://www.luxair.lu/luxair/jsp/polopoly.jsp?d=555&a=2634&l=en
which is the slightly bigger version. i did think it was funny that they asked whether you wanted an aisle or window seat, since no seat was more than an extended arms stretch from both windows
It was a Fokker 50 http://www.klm.com/travel/corporate_en/images/HH10_Fleet_tcm172-24279.pdf
which makes yours 1 seat smaller than my Fokker . I believe Air Wales used to have planes so small they had to recruit 5 foot attendants but AW has gone out of scheduled passenger traffic now …. perhaps it we too small
what we need is a Funkypancake branded plane …
there was only about 15 people on my plane so it actually felt quite spacious (unless you stood up)
