i have always wanted to go up there. i thought, when i was young, that maybe someone lived up there, but then where would they park?

It’s probably about 15 years since I last visted Tower Bridge, but you can walk up one tower, cross the walkway at the top and walk down the other tower. Each floor showed part of an exhibition on the building and history of the bridge. The top walkway used to be a popular suicide spot but they have now made it jump proof. Also, just down the road on the south side is the engine room with one of the original steam engines. Most interesting.
i have always wondered this, and maybe you can answer it for me: what is upstairs in the towers? are there rooms up there or what?
i’ve no idea what’s up there. it’s open for tourists to visit so maybe someone else might know ?
