very “Boyle Family”.
The family of avant-garde artists experimented with Liquid Light in the 1960s accompanied by Soft Machine music. They then went on to create sculptures of bits of road, kerbs, pavement etc. usually complete with discarded fag ends and other detritis. The models are very realistic and hang on the wall. They also threw darts at a map of the world (blindfolded) and are trying to visit and model the square metres that the darts have fallen on. (the world series). There was a really good exhibition at the Modern Art Gallery in Edinburgh at the end of last year.
that sounds great. i shall google for them later !
alas, my attempt was only a photo of the actual thing and not a loving reconstruction.
I thought it was a cycle path
