this is exciting - it's a dead tree in a plant pot down on the viaduct. and it's working its way down the pathway

plants on the move in a wheelchair
i was in london for a meeting yesterday and got to take some classic funkypancake street junk photos. here's a good one. it's a plant pot in a wheelchair.
i suppose it's only fair they should get wheelchairs since they can't walk. some can potter about.
i'm not sure if the yellow chair was anything to do with it.
lovely scaffolding
what a brilliant idea for outside a flourist shop. they'd decorated their scaffolding to make it in to a feature. excellent stuff.
ian's strange french trees

it's a pot plant in a potty in the back of our car.

i've been worried about plants for a long time, hence the category 'plants on the move'. it seems they've now gone one sep further and now got proper faces
sometimes evolution goes down a deadend. here's a plant mutated in to a frog (no offence intended to any frogs in the audience)

trolley pushing a plant
we see a lot of plants on the move, and perhaps this picture helps us understand the cause. this trolley is pushing the plant - we can see this if we look at the bottom of the plant pot (you might need to click the image to see it bigger).
are these the plant movers ?
isn't that typical - we've not seen a watering can for ages and then two come wandering down the road attached to two shaggy looking chaps carrying plants.
these chaps looked really depressed as they sloped down the road, but they were quite symetrical with their watercans and plants.
i asked if i could take a photo and unfortunately (for us) they smiled.

they put up a fight
some of the hanging baskets on my way to work have been removed. it looks like they didn't go without a fight as can be seen by the plants remains all over the floor.
