the spacehopper is enjoying a renaisance rather like scooting did a few years back. businessmen are taking advantage of the long dry british summer to commute to work on spacehoppers, sometimes travelling miles just to get to work.
what we see here is a lady's sports spacehopper. she's parked it up (rather badly i notice) and left her sunnies on the roof.
Robin, a colleague, sent me this advert for top magazine Navy News. He pointed out how excited everyone was to be reading it (but not excited enough to buy their own copies i note).
but i ask you, how much news about the colour blue can you fit in to one magazine. not many by the looks of it. it's just one piece of paper folder in half.
esther made a light thing and the sun shone and it illuminated
this box lid
can you see ? there's a teeny blue box drawn on this big yellow checked box.
a fantastic mess. it looks like a person sitting down. sort of.
this telly built in to a black and white picture was showing a black and white film. until the telly broke. now it's a crazy coloured thing.
hoorah. it's like the black and white went super-nova (or something)
i once worked in a restaurant as a commis chef. i hadn't got a clue what that meant (and still don't) but it did involve having to go on a council run kitchen hygiene course. so i'm qualified hygenic.
anyway, one of the important things i learnt was to always check your milk bottles for dead mice. another important thing was never to eat the raisins you find in the store room cupboard.
i also learnt that you need different coloured chopping boards for different types of food - cooked meats, uncooked meats, salads, mannequins, spleens etc.
perhaps these bags use a similar coding. perhaps not. but it's a nice story anyway.
black socks gently blowing in the wind.
