Are you saying that the "p" is upper case, fP? If so, I am saying I think it's lower case, but in its rightful place its tail would hang down below the sign's lower edge, leading to possible confusion with the word "Shoo" and consequent visitor chaos.

I used to use an old dot matrix printer that did this so as to produce maximum size letters.

interesting, i didn't work out that it was a lower case 'p', but Esther said it was and explained there wasn't space for the tail so they'd made it larger.
i was quite impressed. her logical thought patterns are obviously inheritted from her mother and not her father !
