massive £5 sale
there's some good signs here, but my favourite one if on the right.
someone obviously put the arrows on the wrong way round, and rather than putting it on the other side of the door, they came up with the brilliant idea of putting it upsway down !
i bet they were really pleased with themselves for thinking of that. and so they should be. it's a special kind of logic.
Woo - that shop is just round the corner from me.
It's not actually particularly massive.
I almost bought a woolly hat there one cold day.
Update!
The upsway-down sign is actually a GOLF SALE stylee billboard (you can see its handle extending upsway in the picture).
A young gentleman was stood on the opposite site of the road this lunchtime pointing it at the shop and looking very board (boom-tish).
ah. now it makes slightly more sense.
which is always a shame.
