Is that allowed? Flipping over the card? Who's to say it was the wrong way up? I'd be stood there for hours worrying whether or not to look at the card face. You probably did the right thing.
you've identified a very tricky issue.
since i'm collecting a deck of cards i needed to turn the card over to see which one it was.
but usually i like to leave things where they are.
i did get a before and after shot in case the truth on the other side proved too much.
unless they are photos, in which case i pick them up and take them home for my collection ( and eventually add to www.davescollections.com ).
