the world of telecom regulation is a funny old thing. there's not many of us. here are two people who do similar jobs for other companies. it's colin and nancy. nancy is the fincy of matt the webserver landlord. see how it all fits together ?

one day i'll draw you a big family tree type thing and you'll understand everything. but for now, why don't you start your own funkypancake family tree and we can compare the results ?

Is your picture of Nancy and Colin or Nancy and Matt? I read Matt's Geek Gardener blog for the first time this week. I liked it. Thanks for sharing his link.

Reread your post and see that I read as well as you spell. Your photo is clearly of Nancy and Colin. Sorry to bother you.

http://www.yoyo.org/~matts/photos/2003-08-02_Devon/03_Jools_Holland_Concert/DCP_3500.html is a picture of Nancy and Matt.

Unfortunately I have never met Colin so the picture of Colin and Matt does not yet exist and hence the triangle remains uncompleted.

Great shot, why is Nancy's nose the same colour as the umbrella though? :-) It doesn't normally look that colour, another long "regulatory lunch" eh?

Hi Domhnall!

Yes - one of those deathly boring regulatory lunches she keeps going on about but says she can never quite manage to get out of going to. :-)

She was certainly slightly "merry" when she met me later that night (and I do so hope she doesn't read this)!

thanks for popping by domhnall !

This picture has prompted me to purchase some rather expensive anti-nose shine powder. I mention this only to quell the misconception that the pink nose was as a result of a surfeit of alcohol but rather the reflection of the bright pink brolly on my shiny nose.

thanks for the clarification. that had been bothering me !
