do you eat handkerchiefs often? i have never heard of this custom. i am wondering why this is considered "food."

i don't think eating myown, let alone any one else's handkerchief would be very pleasant

i know a chocolate labrador who is very partial to socks. i wonder if he has ever tried a handkerchief.
