i had a good bass sound and volume this morning. i took a photo to remind me of my settings:
The amp is a peavey amp. the logo makes it look like 'pervey'.

The amp is a peavey amp. the logo makes it look like 'pervey'.
Awww, that takes the mystery out of it.
Luckily, my amp has the knobs on the back side, so every time I try to adjust the volume I move all of the other knobs first, providing for a seemingly endless assortment of excuses for my bad playing.
